Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian & Charity Foundation was formed in 1997, with an aim to promote charity and humanitarian works by helping the poor and the needy among nationals and expatriates living in the region. The foundation also provides relief to disaster stricken areas and also assists a whole host or Humanitarian projects in the UAE.
Our mission is to provide a distinctive and effective contribution in order to build a decent life for people in various fields of life. The aim of the Foundation is to help the poor and the sick, widows and orphans, and the needy and the affected people in the UAE, and anywhere in the world.
- The Foundation, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, selected five sites in each of the emirates of Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah to perform maintenance for a number of housing units for citizens, in 2009, where the units included more than 8 houses - The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Foundation in support of Palestinian patients has provided medicines and a number of devices needed for the surgical patients to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip hospitals within the framework of the efforts of the Foundation to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people following the Israeli aggression against them - The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Foundation constructed three mosques in the Republic of Togo in West Africa
